Dahlia from Anglesey Abbey

(glance, starting with a line from Norman Dubie)

His chapel fell into flowers long ago
but the church itself still stands;

the congregation is no more
but a few individuals
still remember how
he rephrased
Sundays.

    That was a beautifully put description of what I take to be B’s church services.

    Your poems this time through are as rich and felt as I have seen on your blog. Reading 38 Shakespeare plays must have really touched your core.
    Are you reading the sonnets yet? That might also be affecting your writing. It’s a wonderful way to get to know you, my dear.
